Since 2015 my main focus is on contemporary African art and that of the African diaspora both in NYC and in Europe.
Currently working on several exhibition proposals with South African artists.
Tamar Dresdner curated solo show Sara Berman and a group show "24:7" for ZAZ10TS.
ABOUT
Tamar Dresdner has over 20 years experience in the art world. In the mid 90' she worked at ICA in Boston.
Later on she became the curator of Canit corporate art collection in Tel Aviv.
In 2006 she opened Tavi Dresdner Gallery which operated in Tel Aviv until 2011, after which it became Tamar Dresdner Art Projects, an art advisory & a pop-up gallery, exhibiting Israeli and international artists who work in diverse media.
Tamar Dresdner Art Projects exhibitions take place in museums, altenative art spaces, art fairs and photography festivals.
Tamar Dresdner Art Projects is the curator of the art collection at The Norman hotel in Tel Aviv, which consists of 150 works by emerging and established contemporary Israeli artists.
