ZAZ10TS partners with Braw Haus to present Kynd’s “Multifaceted” Exhibition. Introducing a retrospective exhibition featuring works from 2013 to 2023 by generative digital artist KYND. Curated by Braw Haus, the exhibition marks the first time KYND’s innovative art will be showcased in New York, offering audiences an exclusive look at the evolution of his poetic coding. The series of digital artworks will be featured on the ZAZ Corner Billboard during the month of March.
"For years, I have been creating digital works inspired by hand paintings and drawings. Although I draw with code, there is a strong aspect of introspection regarding the act and experience of drawing rather than the drawing itself. To borrow the words someone wrote for me, it can be described as 'an exploration of the boundaries between computer algorithms, handcrafted aesthetics, and physical phenomena.'" — Kynd
KYND's work blends digital technologies with the aesthetics of traditional painting mediums, and since 2013, he has developed a wide variety of techniques. Yet, his creations have remained largely unseen by the public.
In parallel to the digital exhibition on the billboard, Braw Haus hosted a special event on Friday, March 8th at Station 3. Guests were invited to learn more about KYND’s artworks and techniques. The event will also feature a live conference between KYND and abstract physical painter from NYC, Jimmie Jammes.
