Boaz Aharonovitch
Biography
Boaz Aharonovitch was born in Israel in 1970, and currently lives and works in Tel Aviv-Jaffa. He received his BFA (2002) cum laude and MFA (2005) with high honors from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. His work has been exhibited internationally in galleries and museums, including a solo exhibition at the Tel Aviv Museum, Israel (2016); Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art (2015); Bielefeld, Germany (2014); Andrea Meislin Gallery, New York (2011, 2013), Braverman Gallery, Tel-Aviv (2013). He has participated in group exhibitions in galleries and museums, among them: Cafa Art Museum, Beijing (2015), Bass Museum, Miami, (2012), Photo 50, London (2011), and Bat Yam Museum (2017). Aharonovitch has won several awards such as the Rich foundation Award for an Israeli Artist, Tel Aviv (2005), the Israeli Culture and Sports ministry prize (2008, 2017), and Sharet Foundation Grant (2002, 2004). His work appears in numerous museums and private collections worldwide,
